The Cluster is an independent, representative organization that advocates and represents the IT industry to decision-makers and leaders in the Government and the IT sector.
Since the beginning of 2020, the PRITC received the classification of a public charity organization under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and became exempt from federal income tax under Section 501 (c) (3).
This certification allows donors to deduct their contributions under the IRC Section 170. EIN: 66-0782521.
We enjoy strong work and collaborative relationships with a wide range of governmental and private organizations that are of great benefit to our members.
These includes the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce, Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, Federal Contracting Center, Office of the Chief Information Officer, University of Puerto Rico, Polytechnic University, and Univiersidad Puerto Rico among others.

The Puerto Rico IT Cluster is a registered Not-for Profit corporation established in 2011. Our By Laws provide the election of 11 Executive Members drawn from our membership.
The elected Executive Members determine among themselves who will be appointed to the different Board positions. The Executive Director is not a member of the Board but actively participates in all Board meetings. The Board is broadly representative of the IT industry in Puerto Rico and acts to advance the interests of the industry in the Island, the US Federal market and in overseas markets.

Juan Carlos Chipi, PE, MBA, is an Executive working in the areas of Information Technology (IT) and Services. Skilled in IT Strategy, IT Service Management and Cloud Solutions, he currently serves as the Co-President of the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC).
With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management Information Systems and Services from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, he worked for Integration Technologies Corporation, where he worked in positions that included: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant, and Business Line Manager.
During his time at Integration Technologies Corporation, he managed, designed, and developed Information Systems solutions for the Internet infrastructure implementation of the Government of Puerto Rico’s Internet portal; First Bank Internet banking implementation and Sistema Universitario Ana G. Méndez (SUAGM) Internet portal. Chipi also managed the security infrastructure implementations for Bacardi, Cingular, Puerto Rico Telephone Company (PRTC), TLD, Triple-S, and Universal Insurance.

A diligent professional, Jerry Ramirez counts with over 21 years of software development experience in areas that include: Banking, Information Technology (IT) and Government. A Graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus (Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering), he has been a prominent figure in Softek Inc, where he has worked as a Programmer, Software Engineer Lead, DevOps Lead, Senior Consultant, and currently as the Business Development Manager.
During this time, Ramirez has managed and developed key projects such as: Card Processing Unit, Mortgage Clearing House System, Currency Conversion, Business Continuity Development Program, among others.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Softek Inc. and Vice President of the Puerto Rico Information Technology Cluster (PRITC)..

Engineer turned entrepreneur Alberto Lugo is the Founder and CEO of Internet Vision Development, (INVID) LLC, one of the leading Software Development and Consulting Services Provider in the Americas. His passion for coding led him to creating the company, which specializes in creating custom software for companies that seek to solve business challenges and streamline processes.
Lugo participated in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and The Stanford Latino Entrepreneurs Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. His interests include technology, marketing, entrepreneurship, fitness, food and wine. His main focus continues to be to lead INVID and develop long-term relationships with clients, partners and entrepreneurs. Main awards include the Top Management Award from the Sales and Marketing Association and the Country Partner of the Year from Microsoft. In 2012, Mr. Lugo was recognized by the Governor of Puerto Rico as the Puertorrican Entrepreneur of the Year.

Marysol Torres is a Technical Engagement Manager at Fusionworks, Inc., where she specializes in overseeing, planning and executing technical requirement details for their customers.
Marysol has worked in the implementation of new business solution applications for over 20 companies in industries that include Banking, Services, Distribution, Retail and Government – locally and internationally. With 15 years of experience, she has focused in helping companies adopt new technologies, processes and ways to analyze information. As a Technical Engagement Manager, she also functions as a coach to newly acquired talent.
Mrs. Torres earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Computer Information Systems at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC), where her goal is to locate and promote opportunities for the IT Industry to grow its talent acquisition and serve as an economic pillar of Puerto Rico.
With over 23 years’ of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry, David Linares is an all-around professional that focuses on enterprise management, software architecture and development for solutions and products. His industries of choice include: Government, Healthcare, Finance and Consulting. Working in companies like Microsoft, MCS and Overactive, Inc, he has led business areas as the CIO, Chief Architect, and Technical Sales Lead.
For the past two years, he has successfully led the Operations Department in Wovenware were he incorporates changes to improve OHI (Organization Health Index), quality and business processes to better align with customers.

For the past 30 years, Dr. Flores-Caraballo has lent his experience in the Information Technology (IT), digital transformation, adoption, knowledge management and distance education to universities, governments, and companies in Puerto Rico, United States, and Latin America.
With a PhD in International Communication and Latin American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Flores is also a tenured Professor at the Graduate School of Information Science; Technology of the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras Campus (UPR-RP). His courses include Enterprise Content Management Systems, Knowledge Management, and Information Technologies.
In addition, he is the Founder of Digital KORU, LLC, which is dedicated to the delivery of digital transformation, adoption and change management services. His company serves customers in the United States and Latin America.

Luis Torres currently serves as Co-Founder of Engine-4 Coworking Space / Internet Of Things and Artificial Intelligence LAB.
He works directly for brands that include Microsoft, Intel, IBM, HP, Aruba Network, Evertec and RICHO. Torres is also working on the Arecibo Radio Telescope, a project of social, scientific and technological impact for Open Data.
Gretchen M. Molina Méndez is an Industrial Engineer with a degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. As a Senior Manager at e3 Consulting, a local Management and IT consulting firm, she is responsible for leading the Operations Improvement and Supply Chain practices. She has over 15 years of experience in optimizing processes while ensuring synergies with people and technology. Prior to joining e3, Molina worked in a Johnson & Johnson manufacturing site in Puerto Rico. Currently, she is also the Chair of Women in Technology for the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC).

With over 26 years of experience in Management and IT Strategy Consulting, Alberto J. Cordero has a deep knowledge of industries that include banking, insurance, finance, CPG, public sector, and retail. He has a successful project development and implementation track record in several consulting companies in Puerto Rico, the US Mainland, Europe, and Latin America.
He is also a successful entrepreneur and a leader in the Puerto Rico IT sector. He has worked as a Manager in companies like Deloitte Consulting, Oracle, and Xtrategit. He is a founding member and past President of the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC, 2011-2018), and the Computer Science for All effort in Puerto Rico.
With a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Purdue University- Krannert School of Management, he is the Founder and President of e3 Consulting, one of the top consulting companies in the Island, which aims to help companies implement integrated solutions that enable their business vision and objectives. He is also the Managing Partner for Blue Sand Collection, a luxury vacation rental company with a collection of properties in Puerto Rico.
An accomplished leader that develops relationships with internal and external decision-makers, Henry Gordillo is at the forefront of innovation. With a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Brown University, he aims to drive deep transformation while delivering noticeable growth.
As the Founder & President of Integration Technologies (Intech), Gordillo has used his strategic skills to transform this start-up into the largest locally-owned IT infrastructure design, implementation and managed service provider of the island. The company currently serves 24 Caribbean and Latin American countries.
He was named President of the Entrepreneur’s Organization of Puerto Rico and recognized with the Distinguished Information Sciences Award by the Association of IT Professionals of Puerto Rico.
A current member of the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC) Advisory Board, José J. Huyke Torres majored in Computer Science and Engineering while earning his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Huyke started his career as a designer and developer in the computer hardware industry. He later transitioned to the management and information technology areas, where he has spent over 30 years assisting clients in the development and implementation of business and technology initiatives.
He also serves as a Principal at the Management Consulting Division of RSM Puerto Rico, where he has labored since 1989, and an Equity Partner of the firm. He advises clients in several industries and jurisdictions in matters of information technology, strategy, industry, and management, governance, compliance, operations and project management. In his spare time, he also speaks at conferences and provides training sessions.
Mejía founded Fusionworks, a business and technology consulting company that helps people leverage technology that transforms their businesses. For more than twenty years, he has implemented ERP, EPM, HCM and CRM technologies from Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft, Sap and Prophix to his customers in the banking, insurance, food service, wholesale distribution and retail industries.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus, Mejía Morales is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and is the Founding Member of the Puerto Rico IT Cluster (PRITC).
Currently, he serves as President of “Comité Exportación Colegio CPA” and as board member of charitable entities, Centro para Emprendedores and Asesores Financieros Comunitarios.
Christian González is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wovenware, which he founded in 2003. This consulting firm is dedicated to the development of business applications with a focus on predictive analytics and the use of artificial intelligence models. It offers its services to companies in Puerto Rico, the United States, the Dominican Republic and Canada.
González obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. He is a member of the State Board of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (under the Department of Economic Development and Commerce – DDEC), member of the advisory board of the Guayacán Group and member of the board of directors of the Center for Research and Public Policy (ABRE PR). In the past, he served as President of the Puerto Rico Information Technology Cluster (PRITC) and President of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO).
